I went, paid £1.50 for a cup of coffee in a polystyrene cup, stayed about an hour then came home. That's about it really.
Not a lot on the RS front at all.

        Phil.

              Spares day

Suppose it depends wot youre lookin for,i personally thought that the stall holders turned out but wasent supported very well by the public.too near to christmas i suppose.i saw gen mk2 rs wings,mk1 inner wings , gen mk rs and std bumpers washer bottles most repair sections, round headlamp grills gen and repro, nice set of 1979 date stamped 6j minilites gp4 half shafts ,slip diff etc etc.everybody moans about ebay but if these shows are not supported ebay will be the only thing thats left.only my thoughts.

This was my first time at one of these events so being a novice at rooting out RS parts perhaps I missed a lot. But conversly if the traders were to mark up all the items with price and what the were for then maybe people like me would be more inclined to go and part with our money.
Even at a small event like this,to my way of thinking, presentation is everything. Perhaps that's why the stalls with everything marked up and nicely displayed attracted the most punters.
                Just my thoughts.

hopefully my stall fell into youre way of thinking and i totally agree with you. parts do look different off the car and sometimes can be hard to recognise .one thing is for sure we will never stop learning about our cars
