I saw that there too Martin, but the guys were busy talking. It looks really good and easy to fit. How much per sq metre was it ?
My garage is 20ft x 20ft and I got the lot delivered for £750 inc. Vat including the front raised edging. The whole lot took about 5 hours to fit. It just clicks together then hammer down with a rubber mallet. The time consuming bit is when you have to jigsaw the tiles to fit the sides, corners and round the pillars
looks good martin, looks like you need some new rendering on the outside looks a little damp on the walls, has it stopped raining up there yet??
Unfortunately when the garage was built it was only single brick constructed with rendering on the outside. As we are high up and get the brunt of the wind/rain it seems to soak into the brick. There are no leaks in the garage and all the grainage is fine. I've tried sealing the walls outside with Thompsons brick sealer but it doesn't seem to have cured the problem

Any suggestions out there
Get it hacked off and re-plastered with a silicon one-coat render such as k-rend...job done. As for painting the internal walls, my garage at home is 3 times the size of yours, and took 3 coats and around 450 litres of white emulsion to get a decent finish from bare block ...looks good in the end though.

I get the driving rain coming at the side of the garage all winter and have the same problem.
My garage is single brick as well, water was actually getting though a forming a puddle on the floor
I also tried Thompsons water seal and it did not work, i have since found out that it is more or less fecking wood glue, pva
I went down to a builders merchant (Buildbase) and bought some proper stuff, can't remember the name though, sorry. I sprayed it and also used a roller to apply it. It now (touch wood) seems to be ok.

Spotted the tin at the weekend and thought of this thread.

The stuff is called
cementone water seal
Cheers , I bought some Thompsons Water Seal a couple of weeks ago that is sprayable and have given it 2 coats so hoping that this will cure the problems. Will have to wait until the rain before I know for sure
