Had a trip out yesterday, travelled far South to view some items I have heard stories about but few seem to have seen, a collection of brand new, genuine BL , unused TR7 shells
We were led into the far depths of a warehouse and in the corner, by dim light and torchlight, we could make out the shapes of various shells stacked .
The shells were stacked in their original storage frames on skids mounted to the suspension points, originally they were shrink wrapped but this has long since gone.
We were shown paper work detailing the days the shells came in from the factory along with other new factory shells, the guy also recalled how he watched brand new Dolomite shells being crushed 5 at a time and sent for scrap.
We then had the opportunity to crawl around and inspect the shells, apart from a few tiny bits of surface corrosion ,which was easily rubbed off with bare hand, and a lot of dust they are as brand new.
Rest of the place was like Aladins cave, N.O.S everywhere ...........no blue boxes tho'
An order has been placed
