Nothing like leaving the house with the car spotless driving a 150 odd miles then having to crawl under it and clean the oil and muck off to show it, then knowing it will be the same state by the time you got home
I guess i should have fixed the oil leaks i had it might have been easier, having said that i used to enjoy the concours
cheers Kev

hi why dont you ease the pressure on yourself and forget about the nec, that gives you 5 /6 months to get the job done properly.i earn my living restoring cars and i couldnt acheive what your trying to in the time scale you have.plus if you rush it you will always see bits that you could have done better

I did tell him this last weekend but he won't listen!
Your wasting a good car Kev.It is a car that should be driven as you have been doing (well some of the time ).
I really am not qualified to comment on the Concourse thing as I do not get ir really but I will anyway !! .Is your car really good enough for that class ? without a rebuild aka Worthers type and a Sh1t load of money ?
Just get it driven and static displayed at shows ,your too old for that clambering underneath to cotton bud your brakes
