agree with all of the above especially the bit about brakes and brake fluid.
Don't forget you're racing no one but yourself......
once you do it you'll never look back....that's how I got into it.and if you look below you'll see where I'm up to now ex Bathurst mk2 on 10inch slicks and it's goood fun.
also Roger clark once said so long as I'm not looking out the back window everything is ok.

						Life is Racing......
sigpiceverything else is just waiting
...or buftying.

great adive Kev FPMSLOriginally posted by Frosticles View PostAs an expert in track days, I would recommend go as fast as you can. stay off the racing line, keep an eye on the car behind you at all times, Think your brakes are better than an Escort Cosworth with a big brake conversion, Take your wife with you, Take a fresh pair of grollies when you hit the gravel at 100mph

Oh yes got that covered, love me foodOriginally posted by graham John View Posttake nice food, good selection of sarnies and things, bit of chocolate / Fruit and PLENTY of stuff to drink (non alcholic obviously)
quite often there is catering on site, however if it is shite then there is not much you can do, nothing worse than being hungry and not having time to go find food. Eat a little something after each session.

It sounds like theres going to be some very tasty motors to keep an eye on in my mirror as the guy who's invited me is taking both of his Ferrari's
He's hired Cadwell to celebrate his 50th Birthday and invited a load of petrol heads to help
