yes ive finally got it in and working, it has been in a while tbh, its just that it hasnt been working properly!
ithad a major major deadspot (found out it was the timing, not the carb :cyclops
managed to pull the thread out of one of the manifold bolts (alloy eh? :cherry now ive retapped a bigger bolt in, (on both sides of the carb just to be on the safe side) so its now much much stronger and shouldn't happen again!
managed to shear the bolt that holds the second throttle cable on (new bolt being made up as we speak!)
also, as i think the manifold was designed with a 1.6 xflow in mind, the air filter sat very close (see pic, about 1/2") to the master cylinder, so i had to modify the air filter to fit properly!
and the choke isnt yet connected up as i need the little bolt with the hole in the side to connect the cable to the lever!
but now its in and running, it does make a lovely noise, and seems to get to them higher revs a bit quicker!
the pics were took on my phone, so im sorry about the terrible quality!
