Dont believe what you read in the papers as they make it interesting to read so you will buy them

got an article somewhere on this car from maybe 15yrs ago when it was last sold/ at auction...
seem to remember it went for big money then as well.

Obviously what it was involved in has a lot to do with its value aswell

So if I rob Natwest with the 1300 Sport, then hide it for a few years, it will be worth £100k.....???

you would have to get caught for the car to claim notorioty so it would be a few years before you saw the car again

A bit OTT price wise, I prefer the Page3 link from the home page much better reading for my eyes

i am a lotus cortina register member and this car will sell for 100k.the same seller has jim clarks personal road car for 175k,jim clarks race car which is slightly more and another ex works race car driven by graham hill, jim clark and several others.the dealer is jdclassics i think.maybe someone can post up a link.i think that 75k for a good road car is a typo.more like 25k.

i can well believe the price with the historical ties, i remember an article in CF 5 odd years ago, featuring a bloke with 8 or more mk1 lotus, this being one of them.

dont forget the jim clark race car made £135K 2 years ago
