Was a hard decision to move her on, but I have decided to do more classic car shows next year and wanted something that I would be happy to drive about in and not worry about the weather or leaving it standing

[quote=Martin;410594]Made a few decisions in the last few weeks and after selling my Red RS I decided it was also time to let the Green RS car go to a new home

Have bought an Old Skool car but not a Ford

Here's a pic on the way back from picking it up

                        1974 - Opel Manta 1.9S Berlinetta

Not to everyone's taste, but I had one when I was a boy and I still like them. Also this car came with a spare Brand New in the crate engine and gearbox and enough parts to build another car for less than £2600 !!

                        Respect to you Martin.

I fully understand you for wanting to 'move on' (I wish I could do the same).

Deep down, I think we all realise that there are better handling and more user-friendly cars out there, especially for the insane, and in a lot of cases, unrealistic sums of money these cars exchange hands for (I'm quite sure you remember my thoughts on this subject).

So, good luck with the new purchase mate, you've made a sensible choice.

Cheers Mark. I do remember our conversation and as you've said some of the prices are insane. I still love the MK2's but maybe I just need some time away and to step back and hopefully see what I am missing
                          Cheers
