Hi to all, When I had the bottom end rebored and head ported I had both repainted Ford blue. I have now had my cam cover powder coated black.

Do I repaint both black. Do I leave block blue and just paint head black or just leave them both blue.

I just cant make my mind up.

my opinion would be all black, I'm in the same boat as you done my cyl head about 8 years ago (still not fitted ) in blue and have since decided it looks a bit naff with the powdercoated black rocker cover so going to do the engine and head again

Have a Blue bottom end, Naked head and black Cam cover..... Best one I ever painted was splatter painted in every paint I could get my hands on........

i was always told with 'blue' you can see where the oil is pizzing out easier - blue and black combo for me

Blue looks nice but black hides the grime and oil leaks

After seeing the pic of Taffr's engine I have decided to stick with what I have got now.
