A legend dies, Les Paul the man that designed in my opinion one of the greatest guitars of all time , Died yesterday of complications from pnuemonia, a sad loss but then he was 94. with 1958 -1960 Les paul standard flametops already demanding $300,000 I wonder if they will be worth even more after today

Sad loss,
we have him to thank for some of the greatest music ever played 
, talking of which he could play a bit himself, I remember watching a T.V. prog about him and the guitar where he was demostrating why he'd made it the way he did.
The price of those things is sure to go through the roof now....always were a good investment, anybody with an original will be keeping hold of them for sure now!sigpic
Push everything to the limit
if it breaks it wasn't strong enough
rebuild it and try again !
