  • Any Mk1 Granada Buffs?

Had a test drive of a lovely 1977 Mk1 Grandad Ghia 3.0 Auto this evening.

Its still outside my house and im trying to make up my mind. I just dont know what they are worth??

Very straight car, had paint but its 99% lovely, only one patch of weld i can find on the lift (about 3x1 inch) and its been undersealed every 2 years form new

Genuine 79k with the majority of the history, original logbook and service book etc.

Mint interior in Black and i simply cannot believe how smooth and quiet it drives. Its like a new car and i have just sold a 53 plate Audi for comparison!!

What they worth?? Pics in a minute....

    If it's properly tidy, £3500-4000.

    If it's a bit scruffy, £1000-1500.

I absolutely love them. Does it have the standard Granada vibration at 50ish? That'll be the prop doughnut. Front subframe bushes are a dog of a job on 'em, so check they're ok (Where they go into the chassis, like a huge three sided void bush affair)

My favourite Granada is the Mk1............lovely styling. I have not driven one for years but I always remember the ride being comfortable and very easy to drive considering the size.

This looks a nice example of quite a rare car, and I would love one.

It's not worth 3k to you if you don't like them
