          Been having a bit of a dig and it looks like tetrachloroethylene is banned here so may not be quite as much of a danger as the US stuff but better safe than sorry

            Thanks Andy for posting this.

            Very useful to know these things.......and a lesson to be learnt that we always read the instructions first and use them only for what they are intended to to be used for.

                  got me worried now, used to work in a very small office in the 80's and used to use TRICHLOROETHYLENE as a lubricant for wax injection mouldings....

                  used to get through about 2-3 tins a day...
