i met a man on sat who said he has a broadspeed twincam in his shed!!!!, apparently it is 3.0 v6 with tripple webbers and zf gearbox, does anyone know if this could be genuine?, i'm waiting on the call to view so any pointers to look for would be a huge help,

It sounds a little similar to a car that used to live just outside Wolverhampton.
The owner as had the car for more years than I can remember.
It started life as a 1300GT built by Broadspeed then had a Twin Cam fitted after that it gained a 3 litre engine & has been like that for the last 20 years or more.
It may not be that car, as one of Superspeeds conversions was to fit 3 litre engines into Twin Cams.
