Newby Hall Concours

Decided to have a day out with Doris at the Newby Hall Concours show on Sunday, the largest classic car show in the north of England - 1500 plus entrants every year.

Spent Saturday afternoon cleaning the white Mk2 & turned up Sunday morning & entered the car.

Won 1st place in class [the same category won with XPT 1V in 2005]

Entered prize giving arena with 25 other class winners & ended up being voted Master Class winner!

Was the newest car amongst the winners - which included Jim Scott with his Mk1 Cortina.
