Just been quoted £1100 for a white two pack paintjob full car inside and out. Said it was 24 hours labour (& £15.00 hour) plus materials and vat. I know they do good paint jobs cos I know cars that mates had done before by the bloke. Is this a reasonable price?

A good paint job will take alot longer and even the materials will cost £500 . You need a day just for flat and polishing and that's the easy bit .sigpic 2.1 ATMO YB POWER .
Tick tock goes the clock and the clock don't lie .
12.4sec to 109mph With NO turbo , NO gay trailer , NO slicks , NO gas , NO race fuel and NO bits missing . Beat that !!!!

If you use top quality paint and materials then there ain't a lot left out of £1100 for the labour !
I must have gone through 200+ 'DA' pads on Louies car
Then there's filler, stone chip, etch primer, filler primer, top coat, activator, thinners, mixing cups, gun cleaner thinners, filters, masks, spray suits, compound, compounding heads, wet & dry, and wax !
The hard work is in the prep - get the primer right and the top coat is relatively easy
