get yourslf out in a evo 9 try a 320 with a decat pipe it will blow you away you will not be dissapointed

Owned both a scooby and an evo 7. I preferred the evo tbh. But with the mods i had (358 bhp) i could only get 10 mpg. had to run it on vpower which was a 24 round trip !!.
I would go for a 535d sport. yes i know its diesel but its pretty quick and very comfy as my mate has one and will cruise no probs on the mway at ahem 130 !!!.

Or an M5 !!!!!

Forgot to mention that parts and servicing and running costs for an evo are ferociously expensive

i chose "other" as i'm not too keen on evo's or scoobys. However, you're gonna have immense fun in either of them so you'll win either way

as for an equivalent fast and fun family car ....... The intergarale is a 5 door is it not?

i wouldn't get either mate if i were you, i've had 4 scoobys before i got my old escort & knowing your right foot you'll blow up the scoob within a week & evo parts are shockingly exspencive.
The last scoob i had was a 22b & the engine let go after 500 miles of ownership & it cost me £5k ...... for a rebuild .....

Was the same as you 5 months ago was between an evo6, scooby ,530d,R32 and a RS4... Went and got myself a minter of a 4x4 360bhp cossie and never looked back....

either would be a good buy Andy, the EVO is reliable as its wipers, starter motor and rear diff rarely fall off, thus fine for you.

Ref the Scooby, i hear the flywheels are dowelled and well bolted on therefore should be no issues for you here.
