KL, there is no doubting that you are a font of knowledge about the good old days and second to none on rules and regulations of what a group 1,2,3,4 and 5 car should be. But just thought I'd let you know it is now 2009 not 1979, trackdays are part of the modern world and as Si has just said at least people are using their cars in the safe, legal environment .

So drop the arrogance and sh*t attitude and let people do what they want and if it's no interest to you p*ss off, start another thread where you can talk to yourself and whinge until your hearts content.

Only the folks with spare money can afford to race in proper motorsport events . Even trackdays are expensive . Therefore some us just sit back safe in the knowlegde that we can always kick everyone's arses on drag strips for £20 a day !!!!!
