Illegal number plates

They are definately tightening up, my Mrs had to change her plates this last MOT because they had a water mark behind pefectly legal lettering, the tester simply failed the car unless they complied completely with the letter of the law. All you boys out there riding round with the "classic" style black plates had better look out unless the car actually complies to the age related legislation if this camera evidence is all they need to start procedings against you. We could end up with a load of Q plates being issued!sigpic
Push everything to the limit
if it breaks it wasn't strong enough
rebuild it and try again !

after a nice quiet chat with said tosser sorry copper. he said it was all down to local group doing speed trials on one of our main roads and asking the police to ignor them or close the roads after work hours so they won't hurt anybody....
they've now been told to do vehicle checks on any sporty looking car in the area and persue and fines that may be possibleAKA The Dipstick

don't get me wrong, the plates are wrong and i know it, but i've had black/silver plates on the car since it got put back on the road and i never had a problem, i do speak to most of the local police i meet and i do get on with them, even when i'm wrong i still understand they got a job to do, but i don't like snotty nosed ****s comming down all power hungry on me before they've even spoken to me. just gets my back up.....
i have been stopped over driving matters before and always get out of the car and talk to them, i'm polite and can see both sides of an argument, so far this has worked well and after 20 yrs of driveng i have only recived 3 points for speeding in 89....
bloddy tossersAKA The Dipstick
