I was only half watching the local news when they mentioned the old Hoover factory & Ford production...
I nearly spat my tea out when I saw Mk1 Escort doors going around a production line, filmed this week

the Factory is two miles from the house and they have been advertising for extras for the film.



been speaking to some of the production guys and the doors are indeed fake, and there is pretty much a lot of fake stuff there (film specials, im told is the term)

before everyone starts getting excited over Escort parts, the time Era is 1968 and we all know how many 'millions' of escorts were in production then
