Are many people on here a member? as I see you need to be one to access the site. As someone who would like to purchase an mk1/2 escort in the future, is it worth joining now? Basically are there many cars for sale on the foum? lol

as above, very few cars being sold by members on there.
Most are links from ebay.
Good idea if you want to join to get info on a specific car for sale if it has been registered with the club.
Lots of model info on there and people always willing to help.
But if you want a mk2 then this is place to be.

I was in the AVO club for about 10 years from the late 1980's upwards and they used to have a good mag with lots of cars for sale in it . Mind you that was before they all rusted away and before the internet/ebay etc was about .sigpic 2.1 ATMO YB POWER .
Tick tock goes the clock and the clock don't lie .
12.4sec to 109mph With NO turbo , NO gay trailer , NO slicks , NO gas , NO race fuel and NO bits missing . Beat that !!!!

dont bother.35 quid just to use the forum and get a magazine every now and again.go to shows.thats the best place to find a car.just ask the owner of the car you like if he wants to sell.most times they say no but one just might say yes or know of one thats for sale.

dictatorship ?
could have just made some parts of the forum closed to non members and kept people going on the site with the good chance of them joining ,like some other clubs have done. to be not even told about what was going to happen was a very odd decision and was a snub to non members and not very inviting to trying to get them to join!what i need is a high horse like the others have !
