Retro car show at santa Pod .

Who's going this Sunday then as it would be great to get a few fast cars from here up for some action ? Myself and my mate Tony's green Mk1 Escort will be putting down some rapid "comfy" street legal runs to show the other car makes/clubs that the old skool fords are not just fast because they've got slicks and have left half the car at home .
I will be looking to push the "comfy" street car record into the 12.5sec region i hope , even on some cheap A539's with no grip . GO ON THE "COMFY" !!!!!!!!

This show also has all the top modded cars from back in the 60's and 70's turning up . So if you also like Sunbeam's , chevette's , manta's , ascona's TR8's , abarths , etc etc then you're in for a treat as there's always quite a few of each .

i'll be heading along as long as i dont get too plastered at my girlfriends sisters wedding the night before.
Cant make any promises there

hopefully be there though although not sure in which car and either way i wont be running up the strip (although i am gagging to give the mex a thrash i wanna sort a couple of things first)

lol , you should be arsed as it's the best show of the year for modded old stuff . All car makes will be present so not just full of trailered Fords parked up on little alloy ramps with mirrors underneath showing off their £30 gearboxes !!!!!

Yes i know what you mean . I only go to Santa Pod car shows really as i hate the static shows in a field . Seen one and you've seen them all really so that's why the retro show is great . All the cars you don't normally see turn up and most of them are also racing so you can see what they go like .

lol , i saw one up on little ramps the other day with grey patches all over the floor and blue dollups of paint on everything . It looked like he'd been out on a date with Rolf Harris !!!!!!!!! , lol
