Just bought a car & it came with an ipod.
Must have a fairly big hard drive with 220+ music videos, 47 movies, TV shows, video podcasts & 100' S OF MP3's

Obviously i'm going to want to take some stuff off there & personalize it.
So where's the best site for downloading ipod stuff.
As you've probably realized by now I've never bothered with them before
I must admit I think they're a great bit of kit though...

If it's a proper Apple iPod then you need to download Apple iTunes from the Apple site. It registers the actual device and you can buy music, manage podcasts and rip your CDs. You don't use the iPod like a hard drive, iTunes manages it for you while controlling licensing of downloaded music, so you add and remove stuff from your iPod through iTunes. It's free, you'll be pleased to hear. Rock on...

The latest macOS offers the world’s best way to play — and add to — your collection of music, movies, TV shows, podcasts, audiobooks, and more.

That's if you haven't got access to the original computer - which onviously you won't have (unless you got that with the car too.)

This may help with that problem though...

Am I right in thinking that you can only run one ipod per computer, my son has an ipod and its full of sh!te, my Golf has a factory fit ipod lead, if I buy an ipod and plug it to my computer (same one son uses) will it load all his junk ?

I am left behind by technology

            No your not right

Hold the shift button down as you plug an Ipod to your PC then keep holding until a text box appears on your pc that allows you to set up multiple libraries

PMSL, No son, not bluetooth . We have both the Nano and the Shuffle so 2 different cables. As soon as you plug them in they are recognised. You can also create playlists that they automatically sinc to as well.
