If I wanted to show in concours at the last few shows this year do i need a concours logbook?

Following a sudggestion at last years concours meeting, (possibly suggested by oggie?,) You do not need a log book to show in novice class.

The mk1 that was in frosty's class at Cornwall didn't have a log book. (in fact he wasn't even an RSOC member when he turned up at the show - but that was soon rectified )

I know at some larger shows (combe) you will need to book in, in advance to get an infield pass.

However without a log book, you would not be legible for a gold cup (presented to the class winner at the end of the season).

If you want to show in any of the other 4 classes you will need a log book.

What class would i be in , I have never shown before

As you have never show before you have all 5 options open to you.

In each class you will only be against other old school cars.



If you want to trailer to any show, then you'll need to enter
expert old school.

If you drive and want the car judged on the underside then either,
Modified Old school
OR
Standard Old school


If you don't want the underside judged then either
Intermediate Old school
OR
Novice Old School (this is only available to people and cars that are new to concours i.e not spence etc..... )

in novice the under side is not judged rob...get it in there son

be easy for Gaz to sort that out though, he could simply walk underneath
