Schumacher is NOT the Stig (it is rumoured / likely to be Formula Vauxhall/ GT series driver Ben Collins) however i go along with the top gear theory that there are a "couple" of Stigs .

Shueys appearance last night was aas an ambassador for the Fiat / lancia Group, hence the only driver currently promoting the £1m XXF

Normal Stig resumes next Sunday

As owners of the car are not allowed to use them, except in controlled situations on track, do you not think that the only way Ferrari would allow Top Gear to run one is with Michael at the wheel.

It was one massive PR gimmick. Of course he isn't the 'real' Stig. It is a nice double bluff after what happened recently about Ben Collins being outed.

I am not convinced about multiple Stig's either since you will not get absolute consistency on driver input and it would introduce a bias into the lap times.

Could be a ploy by ferrari to get that pig ugly black thing to top spot i suppose . I'm sure that Mr Schumacher won't be travelling back and forth to drive around Top Gears shitty track every week when he could be sitting in his sun drenched villa drinking beer !!!!!
