Did you install an update of a firewall or anything alike?
      Could be an automatic update.
Try sending an email to yourselves and see if it arrives.

                      Grum,

I would suggest a system restore to a previous date. If its just started happening and you dont think you've changed any settings or installed any new virus/security software.

Go to Start button, then programs, then accessories, then system tools.

Click on system restore and pick a date about a month ago. you wont loose any files just return your computer to how it was. Give it a go.

                            Grum,

It sounds like a security setting has changed somewhere along the line. You may have done it without realising. Possibly an outlook setting. Have you downloaded any windows updates recently? There have been microsoft security updates over the last few weeks which may have affected your setup. Difficult to sort for you without actually seeing the computer.

Find a local nerd is the best bet, or computer shop i suppose as a last resort.
