Well done. Get him to Forest in a couple of years. Will be in need of decent youngsters.

nice one marky.2 pieces of advice...if any so called bigger clubs show an interest in your son always snap their hand off.we made the mistake of staying loyal with my sons club when he could have progressed to a scottish premier league academy.my son (a keeper) was wanted by aberdeen but we was advised by our team not to go so we didn`t.2 seasons later after conceeding just 17 goals all season a different manager comes in and doesn`t get on with my son and he is out.youth football is a dog eat dog world as we have found out to our cost you must look after no1.secondly never ever trust other kids parents they all knew my son was being ditched weeks before we did and they didn`t tell us (3 of them i considered pals for life) and because like i said they will only look after no1 also.my son is now at a very well run semi pro club youth academy, huntly fc in the highland league.

thanks for the nice comments guys
but they only sign up players for a year then he will have to do it all again next summer but the coach did say he has the potential to get into the acadamy side in 2 years and thats what his goal has to be, so we will see

normally a 'goal has to be' a cross bar, two posts and a bit of netting
