2005 to be technically right but I think it will be lost in the 25 years of the RSOC, possibly better having the big event in 2006 we can then get more of a presence

There was an orange Mk2 RS2 at the October 75 London Motor Show at Earls Court. I'm not aware of any mere mortal taking delivery of one until well into 1976.

Dave, as the RSOC dont care about us, after all we dont have Turbo's fitted so we aint real RS's perhaps we should do our own thing mate.

:sad11: Richard, I dont think that is the case. it just the cossies is common as dirt compaired to our cars.

I know of just under 400 Mk2 owners within current RSOC membership.

Christ, only 400 Kel !!!! I wonder what happened to the thousands of other MKII RS2000's that were made. Of course not everyone either is, or wants to be a member of this club or the RSOC but you would expect more than 400.

I know quite a few RS owners that are not in any clubs and wont join the RSOC due to the lack of interest shown in their Models

I know what you are saying, and I cant understand why as two of the RSOC Commitee are Dedicated Mk2 Fans.

I'm trying my best to promote the mk2 more within the RSOC, I think you find the RS600i & Mk5 rs2000 guy/gals feel the same way as we do.

I have on the regester 2 RS1800s with build plates March 1975 and on 'N' plates,
30 years of the RS1800 it is then, will be getting a few at National Day.
I haven't spoken to Phil yet but hopefully the clubs day as well as the Owners day at Donno. I wonder how many will be there?

                              Cheers Dave
