Person on the left is Jim Torrens thats me. The person on the right is Ian Hanna. My business was BRD Performance engines. I sponsored Ian with a complete full race 1576cc push rod cross flow. Ian won the hill climp and sprint championship 2 years running in the under 1600 class. This engine was sealed and stripped by the RAC and found to be 1576cc well under 1600 class. the photograph was takin at a show, Will have to think about it when it was. I have other photographs which wud take a while to hunt out. Jim

Yip thats me in April 1985 i bot that engine and put it in before the Circuit of Ireland rally and had to get towed home
