any help would be great to end a debate to the following:-
the axel found on most mk2's were the diff bolts in from the front of the casing is this called an english axel??
the rare axel found on a few mk2's were the diff bolts in from the back with the tin plate is this classed as a baby atlas???
I know the real names as per a haynes workshop manual are a 'timken type' & a 'sailsbury type'
