  • Stonking Pinto engines

Here's a few graphs from some stonking Harris pinto engines from last week . Don't forget this is on a PROPER Dyno-dynamics dyno so must not be compared to anything else that's been tested on a shite 1970's machine from back in the day , lol

    1st one is Tony Simpson's motor :
Stroked standard crank , x-flow rods , pocketed accralite forged pistons , full race Vulcan head with grp 1 valves and waisted stems etc , Ashely 2 + 1/4 single box exhaust system , twin 48's and a full race camshaft . This car is foookin quick and the nuts .

sigpic 2.1 ATMO YB POWER .
Tick tock goes the clock and the clock don't lie .
12.4sec to 109mph With NO turbo , NO gay trailer , NO slicks , NO gas , NO race fuel and NO bits missing . Beat that !!!!

The next one is the daddy of all Pintos . You've all seen Andy Harris' car shift and now you know why . A Dyno-Dynamics proven 209bhp from a pinto !!!!!!!! Unbeliveable with 98bhp a litre and he's now building an even quicker one at present .

Spec is top secret but i can tell you it's got a stroked standard crank , carrillo rods , forged pistons , twin 50's and an Ashely exhaust system .

Tick tock goes the clock and the clock don't lie .
12.4sec to 109mph With NO turbo , NO gay trailer , NO slicks , NO gas , NO race fuel and NO bits missing . Beat that !!!!

The first is a dream. What a lovely curve/pull!
Is there a specific reason for the flat spot in the second?
Still I would love either of them below my right foot!

The fueling is out a bit but as it's a drag race car it never drops under 6500revs .

Some good strong Harris X-flows near me as well . I've not got any proper dyno charts for them yet but they go well off the lights .
