what do you think of MX-5's

I have a possible chance to buy a cheapish H plate MX-5, yes I know peeps think of them as a girl's car but has anybody on here ever owned one.

Never owed one but never heard anyone slag em off as unreliable etc. - they do drive really well, lovely and light. Nice little car

Great little cars .As mine is not getting used enough I have it for sale on Pistonheads ,best ones are the 1.8'S and you don't need all the added on crap like air con etc. they are a convertible for F's sake

i got my wife a 1.8 s last year on a r plate its a great car had a few small problems scabby wheels soon sorted , a rattle from the back sounded like exhaust shield but its a common problem a clip in the rear brake calliper , we love this car never let us down you will enjoy it cheers mr phill
