I wondered how to go about getting an agreed value on my car, for insurance purposes?

    Hi mate

When I took out my classic policy, I told them I want an agreed value policy (and had to pay an extra £15 just for the privelge). They sent out a few forms to me which I then filled in, attached loads of receipts and about 50 photos from every angle of the car. I then sent that off to their valuator and got a certificate back about a week later.

Presuming you're a member of the RSOC you can pre- arrange with John Hughes for him to carry out a valuation F.O.C. at an RSOC regional day he is attending.

            Cheers lads,
yes i am a member of the Rsoc and i should be paying up as a member of here too asap. The guy at Aon said he knew Phil Teear well and suggested to get a valution from him.. He said i needed to get an independant valuation because the value was more than their recommendation.
