out working with me dad today, when the phone went..
"you know the house your mum and dad used to live in, theres 2 fire engines outside putting the garage out!!"

"you mean the house they still own but rent out!!!" was my reply...

Got there to discover the tenant had bought a renault estate form the auctions and parked it on the drive, when he came outside to show his wife, the car, and garage were alight!!!

luckily the house isnt damaged, apart from a bit of smoke, but the roof and contents of the garage are ruined..
so we got the electrition to check it all over, and checked the gas etc...
boarded it up and await the insurance assesor..

but the car wasnt insured so they have lost a grand on that
could be worse though, at least no one was hurt!!!
