  • Moving To Stockport Cheshire.

Well my sister dropped a bombshell tonight she is moving to a place called Great Moor, close to Stockport Cheshire. We are from Kent so its a fair trek away. Just wanted to know if anybody on here is a local there who I might just ask a few nosey questions too please. About pubs, schools etc.
Why do we pay others to do a job we did ourselves?

    Ever paid for conveyancing?

I've been over there twce for rugby games against Sale Sharks. The area around Edgely Park isn't great tbh. Run down/boarded up shops etc. It's probably much better elsewhere in the area.

Think Great Moor is part of the "Heaton Moor" area and is nowhere near Edgeley Park as thats the other side of Stockport, the Heatons (as theres 3 of them) are quite "well to do" area's.

Yeah, I lived there for a year or so, it's a nice quiet area and although I can't comment on schools etc. there are a few decent pubs locally and easy enough to get into Manchester by train for a big night out

Thanks for your comments, I will make sure I get at one of the local meets when I visit her. I will be on here to arrange that in July...
