well, i couldnt make the lakes, despite registering and getting Spot no 5, three weeks ago my wife surprised me with the announcement that she had managed to secure a pair of (expensive 
) tickets to see Morrissey at the royal albert hall on monday 11th May 
, trouble was she also booked Hotel and train tickets to go up on the sunday 10th May, therefore if i went to the lakes on saturday, it would be pushing it to get back to Wales for early sunday, therefore with regret and a heavy heart, i PM'd the oggie and declined my spot.
Still, Morrissey hey, how often the chance comes up.
having been "caretaker" of the BB on saturday (thanks to the lads who sent pics etc) it was off bright and Early sunday by very expensive Train to Paddington, two nights in a Hotel, some meals out and the Mozz concert.
Sunday, went for a wander........................
had a good lunch and some fine wine, followed by a very enjoyable evening around Covent garden.
Monday, and full of excitement, ---- Morrissey, cant wait.
Went for a wander up to Nottinghill, thought i may bump into Hugh Grant in the pub, however, no show from Hugh
.
anyway, onto Hyde park, and saw this, amazingly !
yep, a domestic Parakeet flying wild in the trees at hyde park.
2.00 PM and not long for morrissey, we decide to go to the Albert Hall to hopefully catch a pre concert glimpse, and have a look around, who knows Hugh grant may be jogging around there...........
no sign of Mozza, but we are getting excited not long now
so, back to the hotel, shower, shave, dress and out for a pre Gig meal and some drinks, top notch
made our way along Knightsbridge to the Albert hall and Jacquie's phone rings..........an automatic voice recording from the ticket agency
Cancelled !!!!!!!!!
in disbelief, we continued to the albert hall, and met with the following sign........
a very expensive wasted weekend and two days holidays
