A heartfelt thanks to all the organisers and Heaves Hotel for hosting the venue, my son and I have a fantastic weekend - start to finish.
Clocked 600 miles door to door, including the Tour, and the car never missed a beat. The best part is I used at total of 60 litres of fuel, which I think is amazing for a Pinto on 45's.
It was really nice to meet and have a chat with a few of the regulars on the site Taffr, and Nipper were very hospitable.
The Scots really know how to party (and rev their engines first thing in the morning for a wake up call).
The Tour itself was very well planned out, credit to those who painstakingly marked out the route and plotted to the precise detail on paper. Lovely scenery, the route over Shap had to be our favourite part.
The whole event exceeded my expectations, and we are already looking forward to joining in again come 2010.
