  • AON Insurance - WARNING !

AON and Footman James have amalgamated and FJ now manage all previous AON policies

READ THE SMALL PRINT AND CONDITIONS OF COVER BEFORE RENEWING !

In my case I have had to negotiate (argue) to re-instate the level of cover to my previous 5+ years of cover with AON

If you are unsure call FJ / AON now to ensure you have full cover in place suitable to your needs

I have requested a call from a manager who can discuss specific Classic issues as this needs clarification - will let you know if he/she does call !

I have renewed under duress but under UK law I have a 14 days "cooling off" period to which I will use to obtain other quotes and if neccasary I will cancel my FJ / Aon policy if more suitable cover is offered elsewhere

    You have been warned !

Call them now and ask !

      Nothing wrong with FJ

The problem I have is reduced cover and a higher premium

It was not until I read the enclosed booklet that I realised the level of cover was not as previously provided by AON

These seem to be the people to have your classic insured with.

Worth trying for a quote if nothing else.

Cheers for the heads up. Been with AON for a few years and always found them good value for money and helpful. Lets see if it continues under the new regime.....

awsome lads at hegerty insurance, they only do classic car insurance, they can cover up to 9 cars on one policy, you get straight through to a person on the other end, i guarantee you will not get a better service or price

BEWARE the "theft" get out clauses on some insurance policys . Especially if the M.O.T's run out over the winter months whilst your car's in storage as THEY WON'T PAY OUT if it get's pinched !!!!!!!

We don't need insurance companies playing this sort of get out, leaving it's clients in the S**t, we just need ones we can depend on to help us out of trouble in the event of a claim!

..................and it takes ages to read through it all!

I've changed from AON to Hagerty this week and am very impressed with them. At last I've got peace of mind that my car is insured for it's true value!
