Thing with preup's is it shows no trust at the off so to speak in my opinon, a v/good legal team will always find loop holes in a prenup and you will pay up in the end.
Best to find a bit of tottie with mega bucks and live of her.Last edited by hotrs2000; 21-04-2009, 16:07.

If two people trust each other 100% and intend spending the rest of your lives together as equals in a partnership, why would they need a pre-nup?
If those same two people dont trust each other etc, why would they get married in the first place? The need for a pre-nup would imply mis-trust on at least one person's side. Not a good start in my opinion.

Tried & Failed !
Yip I had some concerns when I first got married and tried to get the wife to sign a legal document that stated how our now joint funds were generated from. I had busted my balls off working overseas and had three properties to sell when we were buying our first house together ! The wife brought nothing to the table, only HP from her MG
If our marrage had only lasted months there would only have been one winner in my eyes !
Yes its all about trust, she never signed it for what ever reason.
10 years on and we are very happy together with a family but I see no reason to try and protect everything that you have worked hard for

Just get a good solicitor and go and see them together. No mistrust need be implied by visiting a good solicitor, and if you both trust each other you won't mind signing up. If you don't like what the solicitor says then walk away or find another one. Just my opinion.
