    its not nice is it - ive had two go walkies in the past - i would never leave mine un-attended anywhere nowadays - no where ................... just part of owning one for me

      That really is the pits mate.
      Hope it turns up. Not likely, but hope it does.
      Just fitted a new garage alarm last week myself.
      One of the GSM ones that rings my mobile when it goes off. Just too much of this happening.

            I think its been seven weeks since I got it and loads of cash at it too

            It was no worse there than it would be at mine, at my house it lives on the street thats far busier than my mums.

                  Gutted for you mate but im afraid if i never had a lock-up to keep an RS in i wouldnt buy one shouldnt be that way but it is im afraid ... i used to keep my old 2000 in a council garage & i never felt comfortable with that but i hope you get your car back good luck mate

                          Sorry but why shouldn't I have a car I love just because it 'might' get stolen, fair enough this time I lost but that means i'd never of had the cossies, skylines m3's that I have had 'incase' they go missing... Not going to not enjoy my life incase a toe rag nicks it

                              I really feel sorry for you mate, I had my RS2000 pinched in 1987 and it still hurts now. Nobody really knows what it's like until it's happened to them.

                              There's no reason why you should not have and enjoy a nice car like this, but you will have to try and think of a secure place to keep it, if only for peace of mind for you.

                              I hope you get your car back safely and these culprits are strung by their most sensitive parts!

                                Im hoping I can afford to move into a 3 bedroom house with garage later this year but North London is very expensive so have to try hard... I've decided that I will be replacing the car as soon as financially possible but will rent a Garage in a secret location for it's storage.
