Apparently the Credit Card charging is now being applied to Debit Cards as well. Not happy.

How does that work as it just comes out of your account - well out of order

If it's Ryanair you need a Visa Electron card to avoid the charge.

Not oly that but on some airlines ie Ryan Air they will charge you four fees if you have a family of four flying, even if you buy them all together, at the same time!

            Still dirt cheap tho!

Also different prices if you are going one way or return.
Check out your return prices each way then try two singles for the same flights.
            Different prices!

Also you pay for luggage which is fair enough but now you will also have to pay extra to use the check in as well. So if you have a case you pay for the case and you pay to use the check in!
The time will soon come when you are put over the scales before you get on.
All airlines should have dedicated fat ass seats.

On a different note I paid for some furniture on my Barclaycard which was in Spain and paid in Euros. Barclaycard now not only screw you on the exchange rate but they also charge you 2.75% of the full transaction value

My card was with Morgan Stanley who never did this charge but Barclaycard took them over and introduced the charge.

I would have paid by Bank Transfer but the Credit card gives me some protection if things went wrong.

As it stands Barclaycard charge the retailer for the sale (3-4%), me on a poor exchange rate (got about 1.4 Euro/£) and then me again for a computer to convert the Euro sale into £££ (2.75%)

              Robbing T**ts
              Cheers

Blimey - when did you buy the stuff - €1.4 to the £ is really generous as I'd expect you to be charged at about parity (€1 = £1) at the moment by the banks.

Did you mean €1.04/£? If it was that sort of rate then it is pretty close to the current commercial rate which about €1.065/£.

I booked a flight for Nat Day to East Mids with BMI. They cancelled the home flight and changed it to 3.00 so I asked for a refund. They dont do refunds just credit notes. I lost £14-00 because I paid by credit card and they dont refund that. They charged me £20.00 admin fee and I booked a car which was 50 odd which will be sitting at East Mids and I wont. They credited me £115 after paying out £195 and when I went to use the credit note they told me it will cost £90.00 to use it because you cant use it online and its an extra £90.00 to book a flight over the phone.

Yes Guys , but you have to feel sympathy for the poor Banks after loosing all that money on dodgy loans to people who could never ever pay it back
