Expressed Steel Panels

Hi All

I have been looking on the internet for body panels and came across Express Steel Panels website. Can anyone tell me the difference between their panels and other suppliers. They seem to be substantially dearer than anyone else!

ive had a few panels from them over the years ,better quality ,thicker steel and a lot less hassle to fit .very close to original ford panels, they also produce panels you wont get anywhere else but they can be a bit pricey......

its they produce there own, panels not original ford, so they have to make there production cost somewhere I suppose

About 4 years ago I enquired about a panel, (think it was a door panel) and they explained that the definition was not as good as the original Ford item, but things may have changed by now!

I bought a doorskin from them recently, it was a hadrian with the sticker pulled off, oh and over twice the price... £103 compared to £44 from my local factors, didn't even know Hadrian did mk2 escort stuff nowadays.
I wasn't impressed
charged me £20 for postage and it took a week to arrive

Bought 2 full inner wing tops from them at a whopping £235 just to have them sitting in my garage unused..................

I've had 2 full sills and 2 chassis rails off them recently. The steel is thicker (same thickness as the ones that were removed from the car) and they matched up exactly on the car so very little messing about.

Yes they are dearer and they take time to deliver but in my opinion they are worth the money if you want the job done right and cannot get hold of original Ford panels.

I originally got 2 sills from Hadrians and they wobbled like plastic

All my experience is good with these guys. They are expensive, but you do get what you want
Can hardly believe that they bombed out an Hadrian doorskin as their own. If that's what it was, then that's naughty.
As has been said, they do stuff that no one else does, and it usually fits. Their cills are the best too, as they incorporate the door 'step' aswell.
