20th - 21st June is AVO weekend with camping at Brooke Meadow but who fancies extending the weekend a little?
Rally of the Midlands is running on the Friday and Saturday using Mallory Park and I'm after a number of people who are willing to display their cars on the Saturday at the race track.
For those who are interested free camping will be available on the Friday night with 2 stages run at Mallory. The rally cars make 3 visits to Mallory during Saturday totalling 6 stages.
The cars would need to be displayed from approx 8.30AM to approx 3.30PM.
So leaves plenty of time to travel down to Brooke Meadow for the night with the Works Team before AVO day at Stamford.
Mallory Park is situated approx 30 miles from Brooke Meadow, so would be approx a 45 minute drive (sensibly )
Register your interest on here first to see what the numbers are like and see whether it's worth going ahead with.
Alongside the Escort display we are also looking at a Mini display and Metro 6R4's, due to the 50th year of the Mini and 25 years since the debut of the Metro.
Free entry to Mallory will be given to the driver of the car but passengers will have to pay an entrance fee. As soon as I have that amount finalised I will let you all know.
Thanks for your time.
Marcos.
Anyone with any questions either PM me or call on 07985 420483.
