  • Newbiw questions

    Hi all,

New here but there are certainly some cool cars around

I am sure that like lote on here since I was a boy 9now past it @ 30) I always dreamed of owning a mk2 RS2000 I have recently sold my lotus 7 and decided 'maybe' it is time to get the car I always dreamed of

    Few questions

    1) what would the 0-60 be on a standard RS
    2) how much would it cost to do a Cosworth conversion?
    3) ho fast would it be then?

I want one to do about 10 track days a year and then obviously potter around in. I saw one on e-bay the other month for 8k - which is what set me off on this path (is this price about right - obvious depends on condition but for an average one)

Finnaqly I live in Northampton - when is the next localish meet so maybe I could chat to a few people (and ogle their cars)

Sorry for loads of questions!!! and advance thanks!

    Dan

If you can build one for 8k then you are very lucky.

I would say it would cost 20k to build one like mine.
