A £50,000 car belonging to one of Wales' young rally stars has been stolen from a garage in Powys.
Jason Pritchard's Subaru Impreza was taken over the weekend from his parents' business in Builth Wells.
The 20-year-old said the thieves would not even be able to refuel the distinctive vehicle without the right equipment.
He became the youngest winner of Citroen's British C2R2 Cup at the Wales Rally GB last December.
He is friends with fellow rally ace Wyn Humphreys, whose £75,000 Subaru Impreza was stolen during the Ulster rally last August. The driver said his vehicle was distinctive and had been built by Prodrive, a company specialising in preparing Subaru rally cars. "All the component parts have been stamped by Prodrive and I have all the codes," said Mr Pritchard.
