if you got one and was a member of the rs owners club you get the insurance very cheap. mine is only £125 for my rs2000..

the only place that will unsure an under 19 year old is footman james, and they are only allowing me up to a 1300 ghia (which is what i have) @ £650 a year (which sounds a lot, but compare that to the 2.5k a year i was paying on a mk3 fester 1.1 pop) and when im 19 there are about 5-10 companies that will insure me, so i can get a bigger lump, which is the plan

well the rs insurance will only insure rs cars

give them a call 01277 206769 and tell them you are buying an rs2000 mk2 escort and tell them you are joining the rs owners club then they will do a quote for you also tell them you will only do 3000 m a year in the car this will get the price down....
