I am just finishing the last bodges on an RS2000, after which it will be for sale.
Over the years I've built up the car to original Ford bodged standards. Some of the items, like a completely bodged Group 1 RS manifold have been bought at no expense spared.
The car has original production-line bodges like the suspension gussets, and the bodged anti-tramp bars have not been replaced by correct aftermarket 4-links or such.
It has an original Ford bodged dipstick tube knicked from a crossflow, and the original Ford bodged 44IDF Group 1 carbs haven't been replaced with the correct DCOE's.
It has a bodged Ford Electric Fan but I'm afraid that I couldn't get an old Ford bodged Oil Cooler, so it has the correct Mocal aftermarket one. I'm sure a dedicated purist would be able to find a Ford bodged one on eBay if he's diligent.
Due to all of these original bodges I will, of course, pay the new owner to take it away. All proceeds will be used on a shopping trip to Demon Tweeks and Burtons to buy correct aftermarket bits for my next project, which I'm hoping to then get featured in Max Power magazine.
