                i`m a postie and if it has been delivered you dont have to pay it.normally you get a card and you go too your local delivery office to pay and collect it but some posties carry them and ask for the money and hand them over.plus dont shoot the messenger,blaim the person that posted it for not putting enough postage on it.if your postie has delivered it he has done you a favour on the quiet so dont turn up at the delivery office to pay it or he could get a bollocking.i always try and slip them through coz i cant be bothered knocking peoples doors asking for money.
                as for the snow i trudged 60 miles in my van on a rural route in 12" of snow.it took me 6 hours to deliver about half my mail.good fun.
