Failure to re-tax vehicle fine

I've had an £80 fine for this in the past!

Forgot to sorn the cossie a couple of years back, got the same letter!
Sent them a grovelling letter of apology with the cheque, saying how i sent the sorn of with the date, but forgot to get proof of postage! Got a let off and my cheque back a week later! Worth a try, bet i won't get away with it again!

i phoned them about mine and i still got a £80 fine thats when i was doing it up .I miss the last month date they said f,,,,,
