no one will ever know because the basic principle is what makes an X ?

generally everyone has a vision that an X is fitted with the bodykit, whereas the definition is that it was all about personal customisation, and you could fit as little or as much as you wanted!

thus, the Black Beastie is an X in so much it has the bonnet latches, badges, LSD, gas filled suspension,ventilated front discs, the anti dive kit,and heavy duty brake pads, close ratio gear kit etc - does it make it less of an X than, say, one that only has the bodykit fitted and none of the other options ?

At the 2000 RSOC series X display at silverstone, it was generally accepted that to enter the display the minimum requirement was the Series X body kit as this typically is what identified them, however i was inundated with requests to join the display by non body kitted cars that otherwise had the full complement of series X kits.

For the purpose of this thread, i believe there to be about 65 series X (i.e. genuine RS2000) 'bodied' cars in the UK alone, and countles numbers with the non bodied series X options, therefore hope this helps somewhat.
