bad news with my shoulder !

i went back to hospital with my knackered shoulder today - a full 6 weeks since i was knocked off my bike, i thought i was recovering pretty well and expected maybe another 2 weeks off before i could go back to work. doc takes a look and says im in bad shape, so now i have to see a surgeon in two weeks for him to decide how to fix me - i need a plate and screws in the damn thing, could be off for months yet! i dont think i can handle it

ooooh dear Lee, that is bad news. How's that come about then, the docs not sort you properly the first time around, surely an earlier check-up would have have been in order, to make sure it was healing "as planned"?

Know the feeling Lee , had my accident in 2007 and thought I would be back at work Jan 2008 here we are in 2009 and still not back , get the screws and plates fitted and you will back in no time , was used to working flat out and all this time off does your head in , hope it goes well with the doc all the best Wullie
